About the role
The role builds and maintains Verve's iOS HyBid SDK for advertisers and publishers, operating under strict memory and thread-safety constraints inside third-party apps. The position targets mid to senior engineers who own architecture decisions and delivery for SDK distribution channels. You will translate ambiguous product requirements into robust framework-level solutions while balancing performance, compatibility, and stability across diverse client environments. You will partner closely with product, data, and platform teams to define interfaces, validate behavior, and ensure the SDK meets stringent quality standards. A significant portion of the work involves deep collaboration across iOS and Android to ensure consistent behavior and synchronized releases across ecosystems. You will own the full lifecycle of SDK components, from initial design and implementation through testing, release, and iterative improvement based on real-world feedback. Clear written and verbal communication is essential, as you will explain technical trade-offs in plain language to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Level III must initiate and manage architectural refactoring, framework transitions, and foundational technical-debt reduction projects independently.
Level III must master modern Swift and large-scale Objective-C, with expert grasp of iOS runtime mechanics, memory management (ARC), and Grand Central Dispatch (GCD).
A degree is required as part of the formal qualifications for this position.
Minimum professional experience thresholds are defined as 3+ years for Level II and 6+ years for Level III in relevant technical domains.
