What you'll do
Generate new leads, qualify them, and follow up to convert them into prospects using systematic outreach methods. Discover customer needs and business challenges, then explain how Verkada's solutions can help address specific security and operational risks. Schedule meetings and create opportunities for Account Executives by demonstrating Verkada's value through compelling narratives and use cases. Ensure accurate lead distribution and conduct thorough discovery for assigned Account Executives to provide context that accelerates the sales cycle. Utilize Verkada's Salesforce.com systems and sales enablement tools, providing lead metrics and maintaining precise records of all interactions. Consistently meet sales quotas to achieve territory revenue and growth targets that are aligned with company objectives. Build and monetize relationships with prospects and customers by identifying pain points and articulating the impact of Verkada's technology. Adapt to a dynamic work environment while delivering quality opportunities and driving revenue through persistent and strategic efforts. Develop relationships quickly over the phone with customers and technical contacts to establish trust and credibility remotely. Understand sales cycles and necessary qualification criteria to determine when a lead is ready to advance to the next stage. Analyze complex business environments to identify customer issues and translate them into business opportunities that justify investment in Verkada's platform.
Requirements
- Strong desire to be a top performer and advance within Verkada's sales organization through consistent execution and learning.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience that demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to articulate value and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Must be able to work on-site five days per week to ensure full integration into the team and collaboration environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship or special work authorization.
- Capacity to manage high-volume activities and maintain accuracy while processing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to adhere to the structured curriculum of Verkademy and meet all program milestones within the designated timeframe.
- Commitment to upholding Verkada's brand standards and ethical practices in all customer interactions and internal communications.
- Ability to navigate between technical and business conversations to ensure alignment between customer needs and solution fit.
Nice to have
Experience with Salesforce.com to quickly adapt to the CRM environment and leverage data for pipeline management. Experience with Outreach or similar engagement platforms to optimize messaging cadences and follow-up strategies.

Verkademy is approximately a 9-month program, with potential for earlier completion based on performance and progression criteria. Successful candidates must be authorized to work in the United States independently, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role. The compensation package includes a base salary range targeting $55,000 to $60,000 USD OTE, which combines base compensation with uncapped commission potential. This role requires on-site presence in St. Petersburg, Florida, ensuring consistent collaboration with team members and access to company resources. The position operates on a full-time engagement basis, aligning with the structured timeline of Verkademy training and ramp-up expectations.
