Join the Sales Strategy and Operations team to enhance sales efficiency and intelligence. This role focuses on understanding the renewal process and developing tools for sales, partners, and customers. You will contribute to cross-functional initiatives and gain exposure to diverse business challenges. The position requires a proactive mindset to analyze retention data and build predictive models that highlight at-risk accounts. You will own the design of scalable workflows that streamline manual tasks for sales and partner teams. This role leads cross-functional programs by managing roadmaps and milestones for new initiatives or tool transitions. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving bottlenecks throughout the customer lifecycle. Success in this position depends on excellent communication skills when engaging with various stakeholders across the organization.
Key facts
What you'll do
Analyze retention data, conduct cohort studies to identify reasons for churn or expansion, and build predictive models for at-risk accounts.
Lead cross-functional programs, managing roadmaps, milestones, and internal enablement for new initiatives or tool transitions.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the customer lifecycle by designing and implementing scalable workflows that reduce manual tasks for sales and partners.
Develop and maintain dashboards using SQL, Tableau, and Looker to visualize renewal performance and track key metrics.
Partner with Sales and Customer Success to define and track cohort analysis that measures the impact of renewals strategies.
Design experiments to test hypotheses regarding customer behavior and use the results to recommend process improvements.
Create automated reporting solutions in Google Sheets and Salesforce to improve the accuracy of renewal forecasting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications for data projects.
Own the documentation of standard operating procedures for renewal tools and workflows to ensure consistency across teams.
Coordinate with implementation and operations teams to ensure timely execution of renewal-related projects and milestones.
Utilize data insights to drive recommendations for pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies for renewals.
Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects that provide strategic direction for the sales organization and partner ecosystem.
Requirements
At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in consulting, corporate strategy, or a high-growth startup environment.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to structure analyses and contribute to data architecture discussions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with various stakeholders.
Ability to manage change and ambiguity, juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Must be able to work on-site five days a week in San Mateo, CA.
Demonstrated experience with Salesforce is essential for managing renewal pipelines and tracking customer health.
Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel is required for data manipulation and reporting tasks.
Advanced SQL skills are necessary to query databases and support complex data analysis initiatives.
Experience with Tableau is required to build interactive dashboards that communicate renewal metrics effectively.
Ability to learn and utilize Looker for data modeling and visualization in a high-growth environment.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top university is required for this position.
Prior experience in Sales, Sales Operations, or Strategy is mandatory to understand the nuances of renewal processes.
