About the role
This position requires you to lead and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives focused on the UK market. You will guide this team to achieve and surpass sales targets for corporate accounts with over 5,000 employees. Your core ownership includes recruiting, mentoring, and ensuring high activity standards across the entire sales team. You will manage the full sales cycle for complex enterprise deals within your assigned territory. This role demands a high level of accountability for team performance and quota attainment. You will build strategic relationships with key prospects and influence at the highest organizational levels. Success in this position hinges on your ability to operate within an indirect sales model effectively. You will be responsible for forecasting, pipeline management, and driving predictable revenue growth for the region.

What you'll do
- Direct a team of Enterprise Account Executives to meet and exceed their assigned sales quotas in the UK.
- Recruit, hire, and continuously develop new sales representatives to build a high-performing team.
- Conduct regular forecast meetings and report detailed sales activity and pipeline health to the VP of EMEA.
- Monitor team sales activities, individual performance metrics, and track overall performance outcomes.
- Assist sales representatives in negotiating and closing complex enterprise deals by building strategic relationships with key prospects and stakeholders.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure consistent quota attainment through rigorous pipeline management.
- Organize and lead weekly and monthly one-on-one coaching sessions, team pipeline reviews, meetings, and targeted training sessions.
- Collaborate with channel partners and internal stakeholders to generate a robust sales pipeline within the UK market.
- Own the end-to-end sales process for assigned accounts, from initial contact through to contract signing and expansion.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and positioning for Verkada's solutions.
- Provide expert-level guidance to the team on handling complex procurement processes and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive the adoption of Verkada's integrated platform by demonstrating how video security, access control, and sensors solve enterprise problems.
- Develop and implement sales playbooks tailored to the UK enterprise security market.
- Ensure all team members adhere to strict activity standards and reporting requirements to maintain forecast accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven track record in directly managing a successful sales team of enterprise-level professionals.
- Ability to adapt influencing styles and build trusting relationships with colleagues, partners, and customers at all levels.
- Mandatory experience working within an indirect sales model and managing partners to achieve revenue goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop account executives to reach their full potential.
- History of success in a high-volume transaction sales environment involving complex enterprise deals.
- Excellent presentation, public speaking, and active listening abilities in a professional setting.
- Capacity to thrive in a rapidly evolving work environment with shifting priorities and market conditions.
- Proven success in hiring, onboarding, and training new sales representatives effectively.
- Consistent history of closing business, exceeding personal and team sales quotas, and driving revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately predict sales results, forecast pipelines, and manage deal cycles.
- Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time, including domestic and international trips to meet key clients.
- Strong understanding of security and physical infrastructure solutions relevant to enterprise organizations.
- Experience selling to multinational corporations and navigating complex buying committees.
