About the role
You will architect and own the end-to-end strategy for Vercel's Executive Briefing Center program, defining the standards that shape every executive visit. You will translate high-level business goals into meticulously designed briefing agendas that showcase the future of agentic software. You will act as the primary liaison between our executive team and enterprise customers, ensuring every session reinforces our position as the leader in developer infrastructure. You will leverage data and qualitative feedback to iteratively refine the narrative and experience of each briefing. You will build and mentor a cross-functional team to execute flawlessly at scale. You will ensure that every interaction with OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and our broader customer base feels bespoke and impactful. You will be the operational backbone that turns strategic curiosity into measurable pipeline and long-term trust.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design, launch, and operate Vercel's Executive Briefing Center program, including intake, qualification criteria, and scheduling workflows that prioritize high-impact opportunities.
- Partner with account teams to define briefing objectives, build customized agendas, and align discussion topics to each customer's business priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Recruit, brief, and coach executive and technical speakers, ensuring every session lands with clarity, a consistent narrative, and a strong reflection of our product vision.
- Own end-to-end onsite execution: room and space experience, catering, branding, demos, technology, and hospitality details that create a premium, memorable environment.
- Build and maintain a library of briefing content, discussion frameworks, and demo experiences in partnership with Product Marketing to keep materials current and effective.
- Manage program operations including budget, vendor relationships, capacity planning, and briefing calendars to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Define and report on program metrics such as briefings delivered, pipeline influenced, deal acceleration, and attendee satisfaction, and use that data to improve the program each quarter.
- Extend the program over time to strategic formats such as roadshows, virtual briefings, and executive roundtables that expand our reach and impact.
- Collaborate closely with Sales leadership, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and our executive team to integrate insights from the field into product and go-to-market strategies.
- Represent Vercel's brand at its most senior touchpoint, embodying the precision, creativity, and reliability that defines our company.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in executive briefing programs, strategic events, executive engagement, or field marketing, ideally at an enterprise SaaS company or B2B technology company with a strong focus on developer tools.
- You have run high-stakes programs involving C-level customers and internal executives, and you remain calm and precise under pressure, even when managing multiple concurrent briefings.
- Exceptional program management skills, with a demonstrated ability to juggle many briefings at different stages without letting details slip or quality degrade.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate account strategy into a compelling briefing agenda that aligns with revenue objectives and customer outcomes.
- Confident communicator who can brief a CEO, coach a speaker, and negotiate with a vendor in the same afternoon while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
- Comfortable with a technical audience and product; you can hold your own in conversations about developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI, and you speak the language of builders.
- Data-oriented: you measure what matters and can articulate program ROI to leadership using clear metrics, dashboards, and insights.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility for occasional travel to support key customer engagements and industry events.
Nice to have
- Have built an EBC or briefing program from zero to scale, demonstrating the ability to establish best practices and drive adoption across an organization.
- Have experience with briefing management platforms and CRM reporting to provide visibility into program performance and impact.
Practical notes
- In-office anchor days are required on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday out of one of our SF offices.
- This role may involve travel to customer locations and industry events to extend the program format and engage with key stakeholders directly.
