About the role
Veeva Data Cloud is developing advanced data products and software for the global Life Sciences industry, covering both Clinical and Commercial sectors. As a Product Leader, you will guide a multidisciplinary team to define product strategy and oversee its execution, from data pipelines to web applications and APIs. This role involves using modern GenAI and traditional methods to innovate for data quality and operational efficiency. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, ensuring that vision, execution, and business outcomes are tightly aligned. You will act as the central thought leader for data strategy, influencing partners across the organization with your expertise and judgment. The role requires balancing long-term architectural thinking with the immediate needs of shipping high-quality features. Success in this position means driving measurable improvements in data reliability, usability, and value for customers.

What you'll do
- Drive the roadmap for data products that benefit both internal teams and external customers through iterative discovery and validation.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams ranging from 10 to 100 full-time employees towards a common product vision with clarity and alignment.
- Establish success metrics, design quality frameworks, and ensure high-standard features are deployed with robust monitoring.
- Innovate continuously using tools like GenAI, human-in-the-loop data curation, analytics, and software to solve complex data challenges.
- Engage with users and stakeholders, conducting interviews and collaborating with Software Product and Engineering teams to align roadmaps.
- Translate ambiguous problems into structured hypotheses and workstreams that de-risk the product development lifecycle.
- Own the end-to-end data product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, scoping, prioritization, and outcome analysis.
- Partner with Data Science and Engineering to define feasible timelines and technical constraints for data initiatives.
- Synthesize feedback from customers and internal users to inform priorities for the data product portfolio.
- Maintain a sharp focus on data quality, ensuring that products deliver accurate, timely, and actionable information.
- Champion the use of modern data tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce manual overhead.
- Define and track key performance indicators that demonstrate the impact of data products on business objectives.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, where data and user feedback drive decisions and continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the data product, communicating its value to executive and technical audiences.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in Product Management, including designing ERDs and understanding product patterns for long-term success.
- Proven experience in data-centric product management, such as data pipelines, analytics, APIs, or data platform tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI and automation to improve speed, efficiency, and data quality in production environments.
- Deep technical and analytical skills, capable of understanding operational details like human data curation workflows and complex data quality metrics.
- Proven ability to unite cross-functional technical teams, including engineering and data science, around shared goals and priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A track record of delivering data products that meet high standards of quality, reliability, and user satisfaction.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Practical notes
Total compensation ranges from 120,000 to 220,000 EUR, which may include variable bonuses and/or stock bonuses, adjusted based on experience and location. The application process includes a personality assessment within 3 days of submission. Interviews involve a conversation with the hiring manager, a practical case exercise, and a final conversation with a Senior Leader.
