Veeva is seeking a Senior Health Data Analyst to enhance the Veeva Compass product suite. Engagement: Full-Time What you'll do
- Oversee and expand the Terminology Reference Library (TRL), managing core reference datasets for prescription and medical claims, including drug details, ICD-10 codes, procedure/lab codes, and payer/plan data.
- Conduct in-depth data querying, field mapping, and structural analysis to evaluate and integrate new data sources into existing schemas.
- Execute data quality and cleansing workflows, performing exploratory analysis to identify discrepancies, address missing values, deduplicate data, and ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Continuously improve the product by investigating data anomalies within the Veeva Compass suite and testing data changes to assess customer impact.
- Create interactive dashboards to monitor key data quality metrics, contributing to technical documentation, validation reports, and team process enhancements.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Developers to clarify data quality issues, pinpoint root causes, and develop data pipelines. Requirements
- Four or more years of experience analyzing record-level prescription and medical claims datasets.
- Four or more years of experience in health data quality analysis, data profiling, and data governance principles.
- Advanced SQL skills, with extensive experience querying, manipulating, and aggregating large-scale relational databases.
- Deep understanding of healthcare code sets and industry standards, including NDC, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC, and payer/plan reference data.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, visualize, and present data quality findings to stakeholders using Excel, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma), or interactive dashboards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to investigate complex, unstructured healthcare data issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM, quantitative, or healthcare informatics field, or equivalent practical experience. Nice to have

Base pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $125,000, with actual salaries varying based on experience and location. Additional compensation may include variable bonuses and/or stock bonuses.
