About the role
You will act as the CEO for the Network MDM business, owning the complete end to end success of this strategic product line within Veeva. You will define and own the Network MDM product vision and long term strategy in collaboration with the broader industry cloud leadership team. This role requires you to own the go to market strategy, ensuring that our value proposition clearly resonates across the life sciences ecosystem. You will lead senior level customer discussions, acting as the primary executive advocate for Network MDM within key strategic accounts. A core part of this position involves owning the Network MDM information flow to sales teams, enabling them with the right messaging and tools. You will also own the content and structure of major customer events, shaping the narrative and experience for our partners. This position demands a bias for action and a commitment to speed, reflecting core company values in how you drive initiatives forward. You will ensure that customer success is embedded in the strategy, aligning product capabilities with evolving market needs.
Key facts
What you'll do
Own the end to end strategy and execution for the Network MDM product line, translating market needs into a clear roadmap.
Define and communicate the product vision and positioning for Network MDM to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Lead the development and execution of the go to market strategy, aligning sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
Act as the primary executive owner during senior level customer discussions, representing the product and the company.
Build and maintain strong, senior level relationships with key strategic customers in the life sciences industry.
Own the flow of Network MDM information to sales teams, ensuring they have the tools and content needed to be successful.
Shape the content and structure of major customer events, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and engagement goals.
Collaborate closely with the industry cloud leadership team to ensure Network MDM strategy is integrated and coherent.
Drive customer success initiatives specific to Network MDM, identifying opportunities to expand value and adoption.
Champion a culture of speed and agility, enabling the team to respond quickly to market feedback and opportunities.
Ensure the product strategy aligns with Veeva's mission of transforming the life sciences industry and delivering value to customers.
Leverage data and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and prioritize features that drive the highest impact.
Act as a thought leader for the Network MDM space, contributing to the broader industry conversation and internal discourse.
Balance the needs of customers, employees, society, and investors in alignment with the public benefit corporation status of the company.
Requirements
You must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
You must have at least ten years of cumulative experience in relevant business or technical roles.
You must have at least five years of experience in a product management, product owner, or product strategy role.
You must have at least five years of experience in a highly customer facing role, such as sales engineering or customer success.
You must have at least five years of experience managing and leading a team of at least two people.
You must have a proven track record of developing and executing product strategy successfully.
You must have experience with master data management concepts, specifically how to manage the golden record in complex environments.
You must have a deep understanding of the life sciences industry, including its key processes, systems, and data challenges.
You must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Nice to have
Experience with network or relationship master data management concepts and technologies.
Experience with SaaS metrics and key business indicators relevant to measuring product success.
Experience with public benefit corporations and the implications of stakeholder governance models.
Experience with event content creation and thought leadership development for executive audiences.
