What you'll do

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions that align with business objectives and client requirements, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to create cloud-native applications, utilizing best practices in cloud design and deployment.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and provide recommendations for cloud migration strategies, including cost analysis and risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, including diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
• Implement security best practices in cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and optimize resource utilization to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with cloud architecture standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, continuously evaluating their potential impact on Vamonosit's offerings and client solutions.
• Participate in client meetings to understand their needs and provide expert advice on cloud solutions that drive business value.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to integrate external services into cloud solutions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture or a similar role, with a strong focus on designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results on time.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native application development.
• Knowledge of data storage solutions, including databases and data lakes, in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI services offered by cloud providers.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role, providing technical consulting and support.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
