Partnering with vendors and OEMs to negotiate service agreements and efficiently manage warranty claims for mechanical systems.

Shipping commissioning support by developing procedures that verify mechanical systems meet defined acceptance criteria before operations.

Partnering with radiation protection and nuclear safety teams to enforce ALARA principles during work execution in controlled areas.

Driving continuous reliability improvements through structured failure analysis, root cause methods, and corrective actions that reduce repeat issues.

Owning configuration discipline by updating as built records, PIDs, and maintenance manuals after every modification to maintain accuracy.

Preparing regulatory submissions by maintaining maintenance program documentation and supporting readiness reviews with thorough records.

Coordinating with quality assurance and regulatory stakeholders to ensure all maintenance activities meet license conditions and standards.

Leading the development of maintenance strategies that optimize equipment performance while controlling costs and resource utilization.

Supporting the implementation of best practices across the maintenance organization through mentoring and process refinement.

Facilitating cross functional communication to ensure maintenance objectives are integrated with operations and engineering goals.

Ensuring that all mechanical maintenance activities are documented, traceable, and available for audits or inspections.

Requirements

You direct a facility maintenance program and own all procedures, work instructions, and compliance documentation for mechanical systems.

You lead a team of maintenance technicians, assigning work orders, verifying completion, and conducting performance reviews to develop capability.

You serve as the mechanical authority, approving change packages, work requests, and modifications to safety components with rigorous review.

You plan and execute maintenance shutdowns across every process area while controlling schedules, resources, and coordination efforts.

You develop preventive maintenance programs, defining frequencies, task lists, acceptance criteria, and documentation standards for plant equipment.

You analyze failure history, apply root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to stop repeat failures and improve reliability.

You manage critical spare parts such as heating elements, pyrometers, reactor tubes, and seals while controlling the stores budget and ensuring availability.

You own the instrument calibration program, ensuring schedules, records, and certificates align precisely with equipment data sheets and regulatory needs.

You interface with equipment vendors, managing service agreements, warranty claims, and specialist contractor access to maintain operational support.

You support commissioning activities, developing maintenance procedures and overseeing acceptance testing for mechanical systems to validate performance.

You collaborate with radiation protection and nuclear safety teams, enforcing ALARA principles in radiologically controlled areas during all maintenance work.

You maintain configuration management, updating as built records, PIDs, and manuals after modifications to sustain accurate documentation.

You provide technical input to safety assessments and readiness reviews, preparing documentation for regulatory submittals with attention to detail.
