Position Summary

We are seeking a Financial and Compliance Controller to manage financial operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions. This role ensures high-quality reporting and strict compliance with IFRS and US GAAP. You will build and optimize internal controls, financial processes, and reporting frameworks. Responsibilities include oversight of group-level closing, cash flow management, and audit readiness. You will work closely with Accounting, Legal, Tax, and Product teams to drive financial transparency, support budgeting and performance analysis, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Your impact will directly influence the company's efficiency, risk management, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

You own the financial compliance narrative for our global apps, ensuring transactions remain precise and reporting stays trustworthy across regions. You translate intricate rules into practical steps, coordinate with product squads, and keep group reporting aligned with standards while supporting planning and risk oversight. Your work on cash movement and audit preparation shapes how efficiently the business scales.

You will design intake routines that capture transaction details, validate vendor data, and prepare documentation before bookings enter our systems. You will construct journal entries and mapping rules, adjusting processes for multiple legal entities so ledgers stay coherent and period end flows smoothly. You will review close schedules and risk indicators, checking reconciliations and narrative notes to confirm that numbers explain activity clearly.

You will ship reporting packages that group transactions by nature and entity, enabling timely board reviews and consistent disclosures under standards. You will partner with tax specialists to interpret rules, aligning filings and reserves so obligations are recorded in the correct periods. You will coordinate with legal teams on contract terms, ensuring service arrangements and commercial clauses reflect the chosen accounting treatment.

You will collaborate with product managers to trace revenue flows, aligning event tracking in apps with recognition policies and avoiding timing mismatches. You will verify audit evidence, responding to queries and testing files so external reviewers can form an unqualified opinion efficiently. You will maintain control logs for each workflow, documenting steps taken and issues resolved to support continuous improvement and future audits. You will champion improvements to closing tools and dashboards, helping teams understand cash and compliance status with minimal manual effort.

Requirements

You must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and demonstrate a solid grasp of accounting standards and controls. You need 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or compliance roles, handling complex entities and regulatory expectations. You should be comfortable working across time zones, communicating clearly with stakeholders who rely on accurate financial information.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role is 350000 UAH per year.
