What you'll do

• Lead the product development lifecycle, from ideation through to launch, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams to define product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features based on user feedback and market research.
• Analyze market trends and user data to identify opportunities for new product features and enhancements that drive user engagement and satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, using insights to inform product strategy and positioning.
• Create detailed product specifications and user stories, ensuring clarity and alignment among stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Conduct regular user testing and feedback sessions to validate product concepts and iterate on designs based on user insights.
• Monitor product performance metrics post-launch, using data to inform future iterations and improvements.
• Act as a product evangelist, communicating product vision and updates to internal teams and external stakeholders, including partners and users.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring that priorities are clear and that the team is focused on delivering maximum value.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the product team, encouraging experimentation and the exploration of new ideas.
• Mentor junior product team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to gather insights on user challenges and opportunities for product improvement.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the tech or fitness industry.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• A passion for fitness, wellness, and a healthy lifestyle, with an understanding of the challenges and needs of users in this space.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile app development and user experience design.
• Familiarity with user research methodologies and tools, such as surveys and usability testing.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and techniques.
• Previous experience in a startup environment or with a rapidly scaling company.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Competence in using wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma or Sketch.
