Senior Product Manager, ASPL
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for the Auto Secured Personal Loans (ASPL) product at Upstart, driving both growth and operational excellence. You will partner deeply with research scientists, data analysts, legal, compliance, and operations to translate complex requirements into clear product specifications. You will define the roadmap and prioritize features that remove barriers and expand access to secured loan offers within the Personal Loans funnel. You will lead cross-functional alignment with engineering, UX design, marketing, and capital markets to ensure solutions meet business goals and regulatory standards. You will analyze borrower behavior and market dynamics to refine positioning, pricing, and user experience for the ASPL segment. You will champion data-driven decision making, using experimentation and feedback loops to validate hypotheses and iterate quickly. You will communicate progress and rationale clearly to stakeholders, building trust and consensus across a distributed, digital-first organization. If you are motivated by meaningful impact and comfortable navigating ambiguity, this role offers a chance to shape a rapidly evolving product in a high-growth portfolio.
