About the role
You own end to end data integrity for Boston schools, guiding compliance and operational projects from intake through partner delivery. You drive school support and analytical problem solving with Home Office and regional teams.

What you'll do
Orchestrate intake of student and teacher data, then design tracking structures that serve local, state, and federal reporting.
Designing state reporting workflows for Massachusetts DESE collections to guarantee timely, accurate submissions and data integrity audits.
Conducting audits to resolve data discrepancies, then partnering with school teams and Home Office to enhance quality continuously.
Coordinating regional and state data requests while building analysis that informs decisions for school operations teams.
Maintaining the regional compliance calendar to keep every deadline visible and actionable for stakeholders.
Leading teacher certification processes as regional lead, monitoring records and training school operations staff on requirements.
Managing student enrollment records and student ID number transfers to ensure accuracy across systems and reports.
Supporting school operations teams with documentation, resources, and guidance aligned to state compliance and operational needs.
Coordinating logistics for state and federal testing, including exam administration, scoring activities, and district partnerships.
Administering monthly NSLP reimbursement reporting, meal data collection, and direct certification processes with cross team collaboration.
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor's degree and bring 5 years of experience in data management, school operations, compliance, or project management.
You demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills while communicating clearly in writing and conversation.
You work proficiently with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage complex tasks.
You build collaborative working relationships and maintain a customer service mindset while managing multiple priorities with detail focus.

Nice to have
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, PowerSchool experience, familiarity with Massachusetts DESE platforms, and background in education data or compliance reporting.

Compensation:  
The full compensation range for this role is $88,600-$104,200.
Typically, new hires who fully meet the qualifications and experience expectations for the role will start at or near $91,200.
Starting compensation below this reflects candidates with less experience or qualifications. Offers near the top end of the range are reserved for candidates who significantly exceed the qualifications, bringing extensive experience and specialized expertise beyond what is listed.
Compensation determinations consider relevant experience and tenure with Uncommon Schools. Additionally, because we value internal growth and tenure, current staff members are not subject to salary caps within this range.
Work Environment
Uncommon is an in-person organization, with a commitment of at least three days each week at our Boston Office.
