About the role
Twitch is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead commerce initiatives on its live streaming platform. This role focuses on building and improving the monetization and shopping features that connect creators with their audiences in meaningful ways. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to ship commerce products that drive revenue and enhance the overall viewer experience. You will own the product lifecycle from discovery through launch and ongoing iteration, ensuring that commerce features meet the needs of both creators and viewers, making this a high-impact position within the commerce organization at Twitch.

What you'll do
Define the product vision and strategy for commerce features on the Twitch platform, aligning with company-wide business goals and creator needs
Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver commerce functionality across web and mobile experiences for both streamers and viewers
Analyze user behavior and transaction data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the commerce funnel and conversion paths
Write clear product requirements and user stories that guide development teams through each stage of the build and release cycle
Work directly with creators and partners to understand their commerce needs, pain points, and aspirations for monetizing their content
Run experiments and measure the impact of commerce features on key business metrics including revenue, engagement, and user retention
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including marketing, legal, and finance teams to ensure commerce products meet all regulatory and business requirements
Prioritize features and roadmap items based on business impact, user value, and feasibility assessments with engineering partners
Lead the end-to-end launch of new commerce products and features from planning through post-launch review and optimization
Iterate on existing commerce tools and workflows to improve conversion rates, reduce friction, and increase overall user satisfaction over time
Requirements
Proven experience as a product manager with a focus on commerce or marketplace products in a consumer-facing technology company
Strong understanding of e-commerce fundamentals including payment processing, checkout flows, and the broader digital transaction ecosystem
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Experience defining and executing product strategy in a dynamic setting where priorities may shift based on market conditions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder alignment, presentation, and documentation across all levels of the organization
Comfortable with data analysis and using quantitative metrics to drive product decisions and validate hypotheses about user behavior
Experience managing product roadmaps and prioritizing competing initiatives while balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic goals
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, economics, or a related field from an accredited institution
Nice to have
Experience working in live entertainment or creator economy platforms where real-time audience engagement drives commerce activity
Familiarity with streaming technology and real-time content delivery systems that power large-scale interactive experiences for millions of users
Background in payments or financial products with an understanding of regulatory considerations and compliance requirements in digital commerce
Previous experience managing a team of product managers or analysts and mentoring junior team members through their growth
Knowledge of affiliate marketing and brand partnership models in digital media, including how to structure and measure partnership programs

SQL and data analysis tools for evaluating product performance, tracking key metrics, and generating insights from user data
Prototyping tools for communicating design concepts and product ideas clearly to stakeholders and engineering partners

API and backend system understanding for commerce integrations including payment gateways, inventory management, and fulfillment systems
A/B testing platforms and experimentation frameworks for running controlled studies and measuring the impact of feature changes

This role is based in San Francisco, CA with options for hybrid work arrangements and in-person collaboration with the local team
The team operates on a standard business schedule with some flexibility for deep work sessions and individual productivity preferences
