What you'll do
- Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements and specifications.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product enhancement.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that reflects the strategic vision and priorities of the organization.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product improvements and feature enhancements.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on product goals and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing updates and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage product launches, coordinating with marketing and sales teams to ensure effective go-to-market strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior product team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our product offerings competitive.
- Champion user-centric design principles, advocating for the needs and preferences of our customers throughout the product development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Nice to have
- Experience in the renewable energy or sustainability sector, aligning with Twelve's mission.
- Knowledge of product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.
- Previous experience working in a startup or high-growth company.
- Multilingual abilities, particularly in Dutch or other European languages.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in product management software and tools, including JIRA, Confluence, and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Competence in using collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
- Knowledge of Agile project management frameworks and methodologies.
