What you'll do

Execute driving maneuvers along designated public streets while maintaining strict compliance with traffic regulations and internal safety protocols.

Navigate predefined routes that target key points of interest, ensuring comprehensive visual and spatial coverage of each assigned sector.

Operate high end removable 360 degree camera systems and lidar equipment mounted on vehicles to gather detailed environmental imagery.

Capture high resolution photographs of street scenes, building facades, signage, and public infrastructure with technical accuracy.

Record short video sequences that document the flow of public spaces and the condition of targeted areas.

Use digital voice recording tools to log observations and contextual details that support visual data sets.

Scan surrounding areas using onboard hardware to detect elements that require specific focus or re capture under improved conditions.

Store all collected media on secure solid state drives located within the vehicle to protect data integrity during transport.

Revisit specific zones when meteorological conditions such as rain or fog impair initial image quality, ensuring optimal results.

Monitor daily progress against assigned route metrics to confirm that coverage targets are met without compromising safety.

Coordinate with central project management to report progress, discuss obstacles, and adjust schedules when necessary.

Maintain the vehicle and equipment in a state of readiness to support continuous field operations over extended deployment periods.

Adhere to strict data handling procedures that govern the transfer, backup, and archival of captured information.

Demonstrate adaptability in managing time and routes across diverse urban layouts found within European jurisdictions.

Requirements

You must hold a valid driver's license appropriate for the region where the assignment takes place and have a clean driving record verified through a secure screening process.

You must pass a road safety test administered by the recruitment team to confirm your ability to handle the assigned vehicle and equipment safely.

You must successfully complete a recruitment interview with a Tsmg recruiter to discuss expectations, logistics, and role specific responsibilities.

You must participate in a formal onboarding process that introduces you to company systems, data standards, and field procedures.

You must be authorized to work in the country of assignment under the local legal framework and provide any required documentation for compliance.

You must have the physical capacity to perform repeated driving maneuvers, exit the vehicle, and handle equipment over extended outdoor sessions.

You must maintain reliable personal transportation to reach collection points when not using the assigned vehicle, ensuring punctuality.

You must commit to a continuous multi month engagement that aligns with the average project timeline of three to six months of active field work.

Nice to have

Experience operating similar camera or lidar hardware in previous field roles.

Familiarity with European urban layouts and street classification systems.

Basic understanding of geospatial data concepts and how imagery integrates into digital maps.

Practical notes

The role requires a full time commitment during normal business hours, specifically from 08:00 to 19:00.

Candidates must be available for the entire duration of the project, which typically spans three to six months per targeted area.
