We are recruiting native French speakers to participate in a conversational audio data collection initiative. This project contributes to the advancement of large scale speech recognition and conversational AI technologies. Participants will engage in spontaneous, unscripted discussions with another individual in their native language. These interactions occur within a controlled acoustic setting and are moderated to guide the session. The resulting audio data will be used to train and enhance speech recognition systems utilized in a variety of applications.

You will manage French language discussions, ensuring authentic interaction while safeguarding privacy and directing group dynamics. Responsibilities include configuring conversation setups, making real time adjustments, and preserving data integrity throughout the process. You will support advanced speech technology by capturing natural dialogue that trains recognition systems.

Responsibilities

Organizing rooms and verifying equipment to ensure sessions begin on time and proceed without technical disruptions.

Directing guided exchanges between speakers to maintain natural dialogue and monitoring audio levels for high quality capture.

Reviewing recordings to assess clarity, redacting identifiable details, and preparing files for secure transfer.

Assigning labels and metadata to sessions, applying category tags, and recording any irregularities for future correction.

Coordinating with project team members to align schedules, verify participant information, and adjust study parameters as needed.

Confirming that each discussion adheres to guidelines, validating consent forms, and verifying data usage agreements.

Preparing rooms in advance, testing microphones, and ensuring acoustic conditions meet required standards before conversations commence.

Archiving completed material in designated storage, documenting storage paths, and confirming that backups are successfully completed.

Requirements

You must possess native level fluency in French and understand nuanced expressions with ease.

You must be able to follow step by step instructions, remain attentive during lengthy sessions, and adapt to changing situations.

You should handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including note taking, audio monitoring, and communication with colleagues.
