Key facts

What you'll do

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements and user needs for new features and products.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs, ensuring they meet user expectations and business goals.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design methodologies, and emerging technologies to inform your design decisions and keep our products competitive.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with developers during the implementation phase to ensure that designs are executed accurately and effectively.
• Assist in the creation of user personas and journey maps to better understand target audiences and their interactions with our products.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Document design processes and decisions to create a transparent workflow that can be referenced by team members.
• Engage with stakeholders to present design concepts and articulate the rationale behind design choices.
• Contribute to team brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate creative ideas and solutions for product challenges.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product design or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience in user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which can enhance collaboration with developers.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in design to create inclusive products.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness.
