About the role
TripleLift is seeking a Director of Sales
US, West to own and drive the growth of a key sales team on the national level. The hire will develop a comprehensive growth strategy in partnership with sales and services leadership and ensure execution across the entire sales organization. This role owns senior-level enterprise contacts and drives forward large-scale partnerships while representing TripleLift as both an internal and external figurehead for the assigned book of business. The successful candidate will coach in-market sales teams through ride-alongs and thought-leadership while utilizing a data-driven approach to manage pipeline, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics. What you'll do
Develop a growth strategy for your book of business in partnership with sales and services leadership and drive adoption and execution across the sales team.
Serve as an internal and external figurehead representing your book of business in all key discussions and initiatives.
Own senior-level contacts and drive forward enterprise-level partnerships that expand presence and value.
Serve as a front-line manager in market with ICs to provide coaching for ride-alongs and thought-leadership with customers.
Drive account-based strategy to grow key client partnerships and cross-sell new products into existing relationships.
Maintain an accurate pipeline and develop quarterly forecasts for the region with precise tracking and reporting.
Utilize a data-driven approach to report out on sales metrics and performance to guide decision-making.
Be held accountable for new product GTM execution and provide voice of the customer feedback into the organization to influence product and market strategies.
Travel for in-market customer visits is required, up to 50% of time, to ensure strong client relationships and market presence.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, marketing, and services to align on priorities and execution.

Champion the adoption of TripleLift solutions within the assigned territory to maximize penetration and retention.

Act as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning TripleLift capabilities with their business objectives and digital advertising roadmaps.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Communications, Business, or Marketing.
Minimum 8 years of ad tech/media sales experience with a demonstrated history in the field.
Demonstrated track record of managing a high performing team and consistently exceeding revenue goals.
Excellent organizational and communication skills to navigate complex enterprise environments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and demanding timelines.
Deep understanding of programmatic advertising and the current SSP landscape.
Strong knowledge in 1p data, CTV environments, and ecommerce ecosystems is preferred and highly relevant.
Demonstrated success in handling complex deals and negotiations at the enterprise level.
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with C-level stakeholders.
Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and CRM tools to track performance and forecast accurately.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration in matrixed organizations is essential.
Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally to support key customers and market initiatives.

Previous experience in retail media networks and marketplaces.
Hands-on experience with commerce and conversion-focused advertising strategies.
Familiarity with Connected TV (CTV) platforms, measurement, and content environments.
