What you'll do

• Develop and deploy advanced statistical models aimed at improving user recommendations and core product features.
• Architect and scale the product analytics team by constructing automated systems and self-service modeling tools that democratize data access.
• Design and implement predictive, classification, and clustering models to optimize the end-to-end product experience for millions of users.
• Research, prototype, and implement emerging technologies, including Agentic AI and AI agents, through structured proof-of-concept projects.
• Partner closely with engineering, design, and product management to diagnose user needs and translate them into robust data solutions.
• Engineer complex AB tests and causal inference frameworks to rigorously evaluate product strategy and measure true business impact.
• Establish a mentorship program to elevate product analysts on modeling best practices, experimentation techniques, and data literacy.
• Synthesize intricate technical findings into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders, from individual contributors to executive leadership.
• Define and own the product metrics framework, ensuring alignment on key performance indicators from the ground up.
• Build and maintain data products that automate insights delivery, thereby scaling the impact of the analytics function across the organization.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new data sources and methodologies to ensure the team remains at the forefront of the industry.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to identify opportunities where data science can unlock significant value and efficiency.
• Establish governance standards for model deployment, monitoring, and interpretability to ensure reliability and trust.
• Champion a culture of experimentation by guiding the team through hypothesis generation, rapid testing, and iterative learning cycles.

Requirements

• Demonstrate significant professional experience in data science or a closely related quantitative role, with a proven track record of delivering impact.
• Hold a Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics, or a similar quantitative field that provides a rigorous analytical foundation.
• Exhibit advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to write efficient, production-grade code.
• Possess hands-on experience with machine learning, multi-arm bandits, and quasi-experimentation to solve real-world business problems.
• Show a proven ability to define and operationalize product metrics from the ground up, ensuring alignment between data and business objectives.
• Have experience building automated processes or data products that scale impact, reducing manual effort and increasing team efficiency.
• Maintain strong critical thinking skills and the ability to form sound judgments based on objective evidence and rigorous analysis.
• Display excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders without losing nuance.
• Thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and independent problem-solving is essential.
• Bring a ownership mindset, taking full responsibility for projects from conception through deployment and post-launch analysis.

• Expertise in customer segmentation and predictive LTV modeling to drive strategic business decisions.
• Previous work in e-commerce, two-sided marketplaces, or travel technology, providing context for the unique challenges of the industry.
