About the role
This fixed-term position focuses on modernizing internal communication channels and launching a new company intranet. You will join the Employee Experience team to deliver these core projects while managing daily communication tasks and advising senior leadership. The role requires ownership of end-to-end communication initiatives that align with employee experience goals and business strategy. You will be responsible for establishing clear governance and processes that ensure consistent messaging across the organization. A key part of this position involves using data and feedback to refine communication approaches continuously. You will help shape the future of how information flows within the company through digital platforms. What you'll do
- Redesign the internal communications channel structure to improve clarity and establish governance.
- Manage the delivery of a new intranet, including building an MVP and creating a business case for long-term investment.
- Define content architecture and ownership models for the new intranet to ensure sustainability.
- Research and evaluate external platforms to support future investment decisions and vendor selection.
- Integrate AI tools into communication workflows to improve search and publishing efficiency for teams.
- Collaborate on company-wide communications, including impact and inclusion initiatives to maintain cultural alignment.
- Develop and execute communication plans for business priorities and change programs across departments.
- Translate complex initiatives into clear narratives that resonate with diverse employee groups and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and ensure alignment on communication timelines.
- Monitor and analyze communication performance using metrics to inform iterative improvements and reporting.
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for internal communication needs across People and other teams.
- Support the rollout of new policies, procedures, and benefits through structured internal campaigns and feedback loops.
- Maintain documentation for communication strategies, audience insights, and channel performance for future reference.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience through improved internal communication touchpoints.
Requirements
- Proven background in internal communications within international or technology-focused environments with demonstrated impact.
- Demonstrated success in launching or updating intranets, specifically regarding information architecture and content governance best practices.
- Experience evaluating digital employee experience platforms and presenting clear recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Project management expertise for handling complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple dependencies and timelines.
- Ability to transition between strategic planning sessions and hands-on execution of communication deliverables.
- Experience acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights that influence organizational decisions.
- Interest in applying AI to communication processes to enhance efficiency, personalization, and accessibility for employees.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism in all interactions.

- Experience using Slack for internal communications to leverage channels, integrations, and community management.
- Experience managing or refreshing large-scale employee events like All Hands meetings to drive engagement and alignment.
Practical notes
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 60% in-office presence in London over a 12-week period from the start date. The position is a fixed-term engagement with a defined scope and duration as outlined in the contract. Compensation is offered within the range of £48,000 to £55,000 per annum, reflective of experience and seniority.
