About the role
As a , you will play a role in promoting safe and responsible gaming practices within our organization. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement strategies that ensure our players engage in gaming activities in a manner that is both enjoyable and safe. This position requires a deep understanding of gambling behaviors, regulatory requirements, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. You will work closely with our compliance and customer support teams to foster a culture of responsible gambling.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive responsible gambling policies that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyze player behavior to identify patterns that may indicate problematic gambling, ensuring timely interventions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to integrate responsible gambling messaging into all customer communications.
- Conduct training sessions for staff to raise awareness about responsible gambling and equip them with the tools to assist customers effectively.
- Create educational materials and resources for players to promote awareness of responsible gambling practices and available support services.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and non-profit organizations, to stay informed about the latest trends and developments in responsible gambling.
- Develop and manage programs that encourage self-exclusion and other protective measures for players who may be at risk.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, detailing the effectiveness of responsible gambling initiatives and areas for improvement.
- Participate in industry forums and conferences to represent Torrero and share insights on responsible gambling strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry standards related to gambling, ensuring compliance across all operations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, with a focus on gambling behavior preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a responsible gambling or compliance role within the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of gambling regulations and responsible gaming frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends related to gambling behavior.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Nice to have
- Certification in responsible gambling or related fields.
- Experience in developing training programs or educational materials.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and software used in monitoring gambling behavior.
- Previous experience working with regulatory bodies or non-profit organizations focused on gambling issues.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies related to responsible gambling messaging.
Skills & tools

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of online gaming platforms and technologies, including mobile and desktop applications.
Practical notes
- This position is based in Ħal Qormi QRM, Southern Region, and may require occasional travel for industry events or training sessions.
- The salary for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
