What you'll do

• Serve as the main point of contact for Procurement teams and contract stakeholders, providing updates on contract status, tracking, and overall administration.
• Oversee the post-execution phase of contracts and manage the Contract Management System (CMS) to ensure all agreements are properly maintained.
• Work closely with the Legal department to address inquiries related to risk assessment, non-standard terms, or any ambiguities in contract language.
• Collaborate with contract owners to monitor progress against established milestones and deliverables, ensuring that all parties are aligned.
• Regularly review agreements to confirm that all contractual obligations are being fulfilled and to identify any areas where performance may be lacking.
• Generate reports on upcoming contract renewals and deadlines to keep stakeholders informed and prepared.
• Ensure that all final versions of contracts, amendments, and closure documents are accurately recorded in the CMS for compliance and auditing purposes.
• Maintain the integrity of the CMS database and provide support during audit processes as needed.
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the administration of contracts post-execution to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Assist the Legal and Procurement teams with various document preparation tasks and administrative duties to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required, along with 0-3+ years of relevant experience in contract administration or a similar field.
• Experience in tracking and managing commercial agreements post-execution, including monitoring key dates and deliverables, is essential.
• Familiarity with a Contract Management System or comparable database tools for effective record-keeping is necessary.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and assess technical documents and financial reports are crucial for this role.
• An understanding of supply chain processes and purchasing workflows will be beneficial.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Torc Robotics writes the software that lets heavy trucks drive themselves on public highways. The company began in Blacksburg, Virginia, in 2005 with students from Virginia Tech and later became part of Daimler Truck.
