Torc Robotics is on the lookout for a Senior BI Analyst to become a key member of our Technology Operations team. This position focuses on advancing our business intelligence and financial reporting capabilities. You will work closely with different departments to extract insights that facilitate strategic decision-making. Your proficiency in data analytics and finance will be essential in driving production efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to assess and improve business performance, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and create effective systems.
- Set up, monitor, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) utilizing SQL and Python to ensure accurate tracking of business metrics.
- Streamline processes to deliver timely and precise insights into business performance through scalable solutions that require minimal maintenance.
- Create intuitive dashboards using tools like Tableau to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Maintain data integrity by documenting data sources and validation methods, while performing regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Work alongside the IT department to establish secure and sustainable data access routes for efficient dashboard updates.
- Use creative problem-solving techniques to tackle unique challenges that arise in the business environment.
- Generate documentation and training resources to enhance data literacy among various stakeholders.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses with SQL and Python to provide support for critical business decisions and initiatives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Information Technology, or Computer Science is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of business analytics is essential.
- At least 5 years of experience working with databases is necessary.
- Over 5 years of experience with large-scale data systems and analytics is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in database design, data modeling, or object modeling is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and SQL is necessary.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a data-centric approach to problem-solving are essential.
- Ability to perform well under pressure while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills are required.
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to achieving results is important.
