Senior Manager, Platform Operations
Job description
Senior Manager, Platform Operations at Todaytix Group.
About the role
Platform Operations Lead
TodayTix Group invites applications for the role of Platform Operations Lead. This position sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of digital experiences within the world's largest cultural commerce platform. You will own the systems and processes that enable seamless discovery, confident purchase, and measurable impact across our global portfolio of live entertainment brands.
The role requires a generalist operator capable of navigating complexity without instruction. You will diagnose issues, define success metrics, and ship solutions that enhance quality and reliability. Your work will directly influence how millions of customers interact with theatre, music, and cultural events. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, data, and the satisfaction of seeing ideas move from concept to reality.
The Work
You will set and maintain intake standards that govern how demands are captured and prioritized for our cultural commerce flows. This involves creating guardrails that ensure requests are clear, testable, and aligned with business objectives before development begins. You will transform ambiguous requirements into structured specifications that engineering and operations teams can execute against with confidence.
Designing build tactics is a core responsibility. You will break down complex problems into manageable components, defining the sequence of work, dependencies, and acceptance criteria. Each project will have a clear hypothesis, and you will establish review checkpoints to validate logic, data integrity, and user journeys prior to release. This discipline reduces risk and protects the user experience.
Coordination is central to the function. You will own ship rituals that synchronize engineering, product, and theater partners. These rhythms ensure that launches are dependable and that cross-functional teams share a single source of truth. You will also forge partner playbooks that align commercial, creative, and operational teams around the event lifecycle, from initial announcement through post-sale engagement.
Analytical review will guide your decisions. You will interpret funnel behavior, map conversion paths, and test hypotheses to identify areas of friction. Your insights will shape experiments run in live markets, helping us to understand what works and why. You will use AI tooling to accelerate pattern recognition, reduce manual effort, and shorten cycle times, always applying responsible judgment to automated outputs.
Operational metrics are your early warning system. You will own the metrics that surface friction in workflows, enabling teams to refine processes and improve conversion. By maintaining a close relationship with data, you will ensure that every change is grounded in evidence and directed toward meaningful outcomes.
Location and Engagement
This is a full-time position based in the Greater London area. The role requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days per week in the office. For the remainder of the week, you may choose where to work, provided you remain within the eligible location parameters.
What You Bring
You must have three years of experience in operations, analytics, or a related role managing complex workflows. You must hold eligibility to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship and be fluent in English for both written and verbal communication. A bias toward action, sharp judgment, and comfort with ambiguity are non-negotiable.
What You Value
Experience in live entertainment, theater, or cultural commerce is preferred but not required. You are comfortable using SQL, Python, Tableau, Looker, Google Sheets, Slack, Jira, and Zoom. You reach for data before forming an opinion, talk to customers before assuming you understand the problem, and use tools to move faster than traditional workflows allow.
Growth and Development
New joiners begin a structured 90-day onboarding journey with clear goals and measurable milestones. Feedback fuels growth at TodayTix Group, and performance is reviewed twice yearly with a focus on impact and development. You will work alongside collaborative, passionate, and kind humans who love live experiences and challenge each other to do great work.
If you are ready to build the future of live events, we encourage you to apply.
