Senior Creative Designer
Job description
Senior Creative Designer at Todaytix Group.
About the role
Senior Creative Designer, TodayTix Group
This role represents a significant opportunity to define the visual identity of a global leader in cultural commerce. As a Senior Creative Designer within the TodayTix Group Creative Studio, you will be instrumental in shaping how millions of users discover and engage with live entertainment. You will translate the vast ecosystem of brands, which includes TodayTix, New York Theatre Guide, London Theatre, Show-Score, Arthouse, Arthouse London, and Secret Cinema, into coherent and compelling experiences. Your responsibility is to bridge high-level brand strategy with execution, ensuring that every interaction drives engagement and supports the commercial objectives of the platform. This position is critical to maintaining the creative integrity of the TodayTix brand while pushing the boundaries of digital storytelling in the live events space.
Location and Work Model
This is a full-time position based in the greater London area. The successful candidate is expected to collaborate in the office a minimum of two days per week. The role offers flexibility for the remainder of the workweek, allowing for a hybrid work model. This arrangement is designed to foster both focused individual work and dynamic in-person collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive annual compensation package ranging from 60,000 GBP to 80,000 GBP. This reward reflects the strategic impact of the role and the value of driving brand excellence across a diverse portfolio of consumer-facing products.
Key Responsibilities
You will own the end-to-end design of user experiences for ticket discovery and purchase, ensuring flows are intuitive and frictionless across the TodayTix ecosystem. This involves crafting journey maps and interaction details that guide users from discovery to conversion. A core part of your function will be developing and maintaining a robust design system. You will create reusable components, style guides, and design tokens that ensure consistency and efficiency across web and native applications.
Your creative direction will extend to campaign design, where you will develop visual narratives for initiatives promoted through New York Theatre Guide and Arthouse. You will act as the visual translator, converting complex business objectives and data insights into clear layouts, interactions, and high-impact marketing assets. This requires a strong partnership with data and research teams; you will test concepts, analyze user behavior, and iterate on designs to optimize performance and usability.
also, you will play a leadership role within the creative community. This involves mentoring junior designers, providing constructive feedback, and upholding TodayTix creative standards. You will evaluate concepts through both a cultural and commercial lens, ensuring that every design decision supports brand values while contributing to ticket sales. Close collaboration with content, product, and engineering teams is essential to ensure on-time delivery and seamless implementation of all creative assets.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess a minimum of three years of professional experience as a designer focused on digital products or agency environments. A demonstrable mastery of Figma is non-negotiable, as you will be responsible for building and maintaining the design systems that power multiple products. You must have a proven track record in user-centered design methodology, including conducting research, building prototypes, and running usability tests.
Your communication skills must be exceptional, enabling you to articulate design rationale and present work clearly to a wide array of stakeholders in London. You should be comfortable making decisions based on data, using analytics to refine designs and improve conversion rates for active campaigns. A deep respect for design craft, combined with a bias for action, is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, direct experience within the live entertainment, theater, or broader cultural sectors would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with the Todaytix product suite and its user base would allow you to hit the ground running and contribute meaningfully from day one. A genuine passion for the arts and the cultural experience ecosystem will inform more authentic and resonant creative direction.
This is your chance to leave a mark on a brand that connects millions of people to the moments that matter. If you are a meticulous craftsman ready to take on strategic design challenges, we encourage you to apply.
