Associate, Client Services
Job description
About the role
Client Services Associates generate expert insights that drive investment and strategic decisions for global clients. The role functions as a commercial launchpad, building the acumen required for sales, account management, and research careers. High performers advance into management positions, with promotion possible within two years. You will own the end-to-end expert interview process, from initial discovery through to final insight delivery. This position requires fluency in navigating complex financial topics with precision and professionalism. You will be responsible for converting raw market questions into structured research plans that yield actionable intelligence. The role demands intellectual agility to synthesize information across diverse sectors and present findings clearly to sophisticated stakeholders. Your work directly influences strategic decisions made by some of the world's largest investment firms.
What you'll do
Thorough discovery uncovers precise client needs, which define the scope and strategy for expert engagement projects. You will conduct cold outreach to industry specialists to overcome hesitation and build buy-in, enabling the scheduling of high-calibre interviews under tight timelines. Fast-paced project management will see you coordinating multiple clients and deadlines, ensuring service quality remains consistent across demanding workloads. Rapid learning across diverse sectors will develop your broad understanding of markets, business models, and regulations that inform every engagement you own. You will execute cross-selling initiatives to introduce clients to the full Third Bridge suite, including the content library, surveys, advisory offerings, and 1-1 calls. Managing the full interview lifecycle will involve scoping, briefing, and quality-checking expert responses to meet stringent client expectations. You will leverage advanced questioning techniques to extract nuanced insights that might otherwise remain hidden within an expert's experience. Collaboration with internal stakeholders will ensure alignment between research deliverables and client business objectives. You will maintain detailed records of interactions and insights to inform future engagement strategies and knowledge retention. Proactively identifying upsell opportunities will require you to map client usage patterns and match them to relevant Third Bridge solutions.
Requirements
Business fluency in Danish at Level C1 or above is mandatory for both written and oral communication. Intellectual strength and ambition thrive in a target-driven commercial environment where performance is measured consistently. You must possess a Bachelor's degree as a non-negotiable entry criterion for this position. A minimum of 20 years of professional experience is expected, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable role. Leadership or extracurricular experience demonstrates initiative and the grit gained through internships or previous work history. Resilience and confidence power successful phone and in-person conversations with experts and client stakeholders. Availability for start dates throughout 2027 is required to match project demand and team coverage. You must be able to operate with discretion and integrity when handling confidential market intelligence. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for translating complex concepts into clear, concise reports. The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment is a hard requirement for success in this role.
Practical notes
This London-based role operates full-time and may include travel to meet client expectations for onsite presence. The position is part of a structured team environment focused on professional development and collaborative results. Typical interview steps include a support scenario, a communication exercise, and behavioral questions. Candidates may be asked to handle an upset customer or plan an onboarding call. Some loops test product knowledge, with empathy and clear writing as core skills. Interviewers often ask how you would bring an unhappy account back on track; structure your answer around listening, a plan, and follow up.
Questions to ask
Useful questions for the interview: what a typical week looks like, how work is assigned, what tools the team uses, and how feedback works. Asking how the role has changed recently and what the team wishes it had known when joining is also reasonable. Questions about the manager's priorities are especially valued.
Career growth
Customer success careers grow from specialist to manager and director levels. Some people move toward account management or solutions engineering. Deep product knowledge and cross-functional work with support, sales, and product teams become key at senior levels. Success careers reward product depth and relationship skills equally. Many leaders in this function started in support or account management.
