What you'll do

1. Build and lead the Research, Insights and Design Center of Excellence across the organization, setting its strategic direction and growth trajectory.

2. Establish the team's operating model from the ground up with clear governance structures, escalation paths, and accountability frameworks.

3. Define research methodology standards that guide how consulting teams gather, analyze, and interpret market intelligence and competitive data.

4. Set design standards ensuring all visual outputs meet consulting-grade quality expectations and are consistent across every engagement.

1. Create a delivery engine that supports consistent, high-quality research and design work across multiple client accounts simultaneously.

6. Serve as an intellectual anchor for the team, providing creative authority and shaping the narrative behind each deliverable.

7. Partner directly with senior consulting and sales leadership as a trusted thought partner on client-facing initiatives.

8. Shape how consulting teams understand markets, position against competitors, and plan for accounts with sharper insights.

9. Guide account planning efforts to ensure insights are actionable, well-articulated, and directly tied to deal-winning strategies.

10. Influence how complex enterprise technology deals are won through more compelling and precise visual storytelling.

11. Ensure ideas and insights are expressed clearly and persuasively to CXO-level audiences in consulting-grade presentations.

12. Coach and develop team members by combining hands-on execution with leadership growth and professional development guidance.

Requirements

1. Demonstrated experience in building and leading research or design teams within a professional services or consulting environment.

2. Strong background in research methodology with the ability to define, document, and enforce standards across a team.

3. Proven track record in design leadership, establishing visual standards and quality governance frameworks that elevate output.

4. Experience as a player-coach combining individual contributor work with people leadership and team development responsibilities.

5. Deep understanding of enterprise technology markets and how consulting teams approach and win complex deals.

6. Ability to serve as a credible thought partner to senior leadership and sales teams on strategic matters.

7. Hands-on expertise in research execution and design excellence at a consulting-grade level with attention to detail.

8. Strong stakeholder partnership skills with experience managing relationships across consulting, sales, and client-facing functions effectively.

1. Prior experience presenting insights and visual narratives to C-suite and CXO-level audiences in enterprise settings.
