This Security and Loss Prevention role is based within Central Functions at our warehouse facility in Omega, Warrington, UK. You will play a critical role in safeguarding company assets, reducing losses, and maintaining a secure and safe working environment within a fast-paced warehouse and fulfilment operation.
What you'll do
You will supervise and support a team of Security Officers across warehouse operations, ensuring consistent application of security standards. You will manage investigations into stock losses and customer order discrepancies, escalating findings to relevant stakeholders as required. You will ensure compliance with all security procedures, access control measures, and site patrols within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will protect high-value products throughout the supply chain by coordinating closely with logistics and warehouse teams. You will analyze loss trends, implement corrective actions, and monitor the effectiveness of security controls on an ongoing basis. You will serve as the key point of contact for security-related matters between Central Functions, warehouse operations, and external partners. You will prepare clear reports on incidents, investigations, and performance metrics for management review. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes, supporting the business in reducing shrink and safeguarding assets.
- Overseeing the deployment and performance of warehouse Security Officers to ensure coverage across all operational areas.
- Leading investigations into inventory variances, missing stock, and customer order discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommended actions.
- Monitoring and auditing security procedures, including access control, bag checks, and site patrols, to verify adherence to company standards.
- Coordinating with warehouse managers and logistics partners to secure high-value products and manage sensitive stock movements.
- Implementing and refining loss prevention controls, utilizing data and incident reports to reduce shrink across the fulfilment process.
- Escalating complex security incidents to senior stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Preparing detailed reports on security activities, loss trends, and audit outcomes for management review and decision-making.
- Supporting the development and delivery of security training for officers and relevant warehouse teams.
- Challenging and strengthening existing processes by identifying gaps and proposing practical improvements.
- Maintaining up-to-date records of all security checks, incidents, and investigations in line with company protocols.

Practical notes
- Hours: Rotating Day/Night Shifts - Mon - Fri - 09.45am - 18.45pm and 21:45pm - 06:15am.
