About the role
You own the end-to-end product strategy for key e-commerce platforms that directly shape the customer shopping journey and business outcomes. You are responsible for maximizing the value of digital products by defining and prioritizing high-impact features that meet strict delivery commitments. You will make strategic trade-off decisions that balance user needs, technical constraints, and commercial objectives on a daily basis. You act as the primary link between client stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business goals into clear and actionable product requirements. You drive a continuous discovery process to validate hypotheses and ensure product-market fit is achieved and iterated upon. You will foster a culture of experimentation, using data and qualitative feedback to refine the product vision and optimize the user experience over time. You contribute to the growth of the product community within Theodo by sharing insights and best practices across squads.

What you'll do
Prioritize and deliver high-value features while adhering to project milestones and client commitments.
Demonstrate team progress and support client decision-making through clear visual management, review decks, and daily communications.
Develop a deep understanding of client preferences and orchestrate a rapid, tailored response to issues using value models and customer feedback tools.
Manage the daily delivery workflow following Lean methodology, including backlog refinement, user story authoring, and sprint planning.
Work closely with clients to uncover needs, facilitate their decisions, and co-create solutions that address their strategic challenges.
Translate product challenges into precise technical requirements by analyzing user behavior, market context, and competitive benchmarks.
Support the team in meeting commitments by anticipating risks, resolving blockers, and contributing to continuous improvement rituals such as retrospectives.
Champion the adoption of Lean Tech practices by focusing on long-term learning and the delivery of performant, useful products for clients.
Maintain a strong focus on business impact by aligning product roadmaps with the commercial objectives of retail and e-commerce projects.
Act as an ambassador for Theodo's methodologies, contributing to pre-sales activities and reinforcing the RetailTech practice's expertise.
Navigate complex stakeholder environments by balancing expectations from clients, technical teams, and internal groups effectively.
Ensure that all product documentation and user stories are clear, structured, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Promote a collaborative culture where feedback is integrated quickly to adapt the product direction in a structured and informed way.
Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure that design, development, and data teams are synchronized around shared product goals.
Requirements
Diplomaed from a top engineering school with 2 to 5 years of experience, ideally in consulting or a client-facing environment.
Strong interest in designing high-impact business products, with a good appetite for technology and solid knowledge of digital product principles.
Excellent relational skills, comfortable interacting with clients and capable of adopting the right posture to build trust.
Client-first mindset, available, responsive, and attentive, capable of prioritizing client needs, integrating feedback, and anticipating expectations.
Strong desire to learn and improve, able to challenge the team, ask for help, and accept being challenged in return.
Demonstrated ability to work within a Lean framework, managing priorities and delivering iterative value to stakeholders.
Clear communication skills, able to translate complex product concepts into structured requirements for technical teams.
Commitment to continuous improvement, including participation in retrospectives and the adoption of data-driven decision-making.
Nice to have
Interest in the RetailTech sector and understanding of e-commerce ecosystems and customer journeys.
Experience with value modeling, customer research, and feedback collection methods.
Knowledge of modern product management tools and collaboration platforms.
Familiarity with Lean Tech principles and agile delivery practices in a consulting context.
Practical notes
The role is based in Paris and requires presence in the office for key ceremonies and client interactions.
Travel may be required to visit client sites across France and potentially within Europe depending on project needs.
Candidates must be eligible to work in France without sponsorship.
This position is open to candidates with a strong engineering background who are ready to grow within a group structure.
