What you'll do

Investigate intricate production incidents and service disruptions, utilizing advanced debugging techniques to isolate root causes and implement permanent fixes.

Design and maintain comprehensive observability strategies, establishing monitoring frameworks that provide deep insights into system behavior and performance metrics.

Champion the adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, bridging the gap between development velocity and operational stability.

Automate repetitive operational tasks and manual workflows, creating scripts and tools that enhance team efficiency and reduce the risk of human error.

Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that new features are deployed with robust observability and error tracking mechanisms from the outset.

Analyze system logs, traces, and metrics to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential bottlenecks that could impact user experience or system health.

Develop and maintain detailed runbooks and operational procedures to standardize responses to complex technical scenarios.

Requirements

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field that provides a solid foundation in computational theory and software principles.

You possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, system administration, or a hybrid role that bridges both domains.

You demonstrate a profound understanding of Linux operating systems, including proficiency in shell scripting and command-line utilities for system management.

You have hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes for managing distributed applications.

You are skilled in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Go, or JavaScript, enabling you to develop tools and automate complex workflows.

You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, specifically with major providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their core service offerings.

You exhibit mastery over databases and data storage solutions, including both relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases for diverse data needs.

You are fluent in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear communication within a multicultural team environment.
