What you'll do

The appointment flow is organized to ensure timely patient service and clinic efficiency.

You will obtain and synthesize patient histories and physical examinations to establish baseline clinical information and identify immediate needs.

Tentative diagnoses will be formulated and you will order appropriate laboratory tests based on initial clinical findings.

Diagnostic decisions will be aligned with physician-led governance and the defined scope of advanced practice in gastroenterology.

You will provide counseling to patients and families on health conditions and disease management as part of routine gastroenterology care.

Education will be delivered to support understanding, adherence, and active engagement in the care process.

You will participate in ongoing professional development activities to ensure ongoing compliance, clinical relevance, and alignment with best practices.

Schedules will adapt to business needs and operational demands, requiring flexibility across the workweek to support coverage.

This structure supports consistent coverage across the full Monday to Friday clinic session without the requirement for call.

Additional responsibilities will be performed as assigned within the scope of advanced practice in gastroenterology.

Your work will directly support clinic throughput, quality standards, and operational performance metrics.

You will utilize data and operational tools provided by the national infrastructure to streamline workflows and reduce administrative tasks.

Requirements

You must hold current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure is required for practice in this role.
