What you'll do

• Design and implement electrochemical test protocols to evaluate the performance of various materials and systems in energy applications.
• Conduct experiments to assess the efficiency, durability, and overall performance of electrochemical cells and related components.
• Analyze experimental data using statistical and computational methods to derive meaningful insights and inform future research directions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including materials scientists and engineers, to optimize the design and functionality of electrochemical systems.

Requirements

• A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemistry, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrochemical testing and analysis, preferably in a research or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in electrochemical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, and chronoamperometry.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation used in electrochemical testing, including potentiostats and spectroscopic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail in experimental design and execution.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• A commitment to safety and adherence to laboratory protocols and regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with renewable energy technologies, such as fuel cells or batteries, is a plus.
• Knowledge of materials characterization techniques, including XRD, SEM, or TEM, would be advantageous.
