About the role
You will own the end to end strategy and execution of the Service Fixed Ops product line at Tekion, aligning product vision with overarching business goals and market demands. In this capacity, you will lead cross functional teams in delivering innovative solutions such as AI driven agents and intelligent workflows that directly enhance operational efficiency for automotive retailers. You will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and concept validation through to successful market launch and ongoing optimization. This role requires you to translate complex business and customer problems into clear product requirements that guide engineering and design efforts. You will leverage data and market insights to continuously refine the product portfolio, ensuring sustainable value creation and support for the company's growth trajectory. Success in this position will be measured by your ability to drive adoption, demonstrate clear business impact, and establish a durable product foundation for the future. You will act as the critical link between strategic stakeholders and execution teams, ensuring alignment and accountability across the organization.

What you'll do
Conduct comprehensive market and customer research to uncover insights, validate opportunities, and define the strategic direction for the Service Fixed Ops product line.
Architect and maintain a clear product vision and multi year roadmap that balances innovation, technical feasibility, and business priorities for the fixed operations ecosystem.
Define and own key performance indicators, establishing measurable success metrics that align product outcomes with revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction goals.
Lead the prioritization of features and initiatives using structured frameworks, balancing stakeholder input, market demands, and resource constraints to maximize value delivery.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on requirements, timelines, and go to market strategies.
Develop detailed product requirements and user stories that provide unambiguous guidance for development, testing, and deployment teams.
Partner with sales and customer facing teams to build compelling business cases, positioning statements, and training materials that articulate product value clearly.
Champion the adoption of AI and machine learning capabilities within product solutions, ensuring reliable implementation and measurable impact in live environments.
Oversee the configuration and optimization of workflow builders, complex task routing, invoicing, and taxation functionalities to meet evolving customer needs.
Act as the primary owner of product performance, using analytics and feedback loops to drive iterative improvements and validate hypotheses over time.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, embedding governance into product processes to support scalability and risk management.
Represent the product line in cross organizational discussions, influencing strategic decisions and securing buy in from executive and operational stakeholders.
Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the product team, encouraging data driven decisions and rapid iteration.
Serve as a thought leader in automotive retail and dealership operations, contributing to the credibility and direction of B2B ERP SaaS offerings within the organization.
Requirements
You must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of executing successful product strategies in complex environments.
You must have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a substantial product team and guiding multiple concurrent initiatives.
You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
You must demonstrate hands on experience in developing AI and ML driven products, including the implementation of reliable AI solutions in production environments.
You must have strong business acumen, including knowledge of pricing strategies, product packaging, business case development, and linking products to revenue generation.
You must possess exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to convert market insights, customer data, and competitive intelligence into actionable product strategies.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels within a large, matrixed organization.
You must be thoroughly familiar with Agile methodologies and product development tools, using them effectively to deliver iterative and incremental value.
Nice to have
An MBA or an advanced degree in Product Design or Product Management, which would deepen your strategic thinking and product leadership capabilities.
Recognition as a thought leader within the industry or organization, particularly with credibility and visibility in automotive retail, dealership operations, or related B2B ERP SaaS sectors.
Direct experience in creating work order management platforms, including functionalities for workflow builders, complex task routing, invoicing, and taxation.
A background in AI driven product development, where you have successfully launched and scaled intelligent solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Experience in building and mentoring high performing product teams, fostering collaboration, and creating an inclusive, innovative culture.
Demonstrated success in managing products with global reach, navigating diverse regulatory, tax, and compliance considerations across regions.
