About the role
The is entrusted with owning the complete lifecycle of external client engagements, ensuring disciplined execution from initial scope alignment through commissioning readiness. This role operates within the technical project management career path and reports to the Team Lead or the most senior Technical Project Manager on the team, providing strategic support for regional client delivery across multiple regions. The hire will manage complex project execution across a portfolio of initiatives, guiding each project through structured phases while coordinating telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, audiovisual systems, security solutions, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks. They will mentor junior project managers, reinforce high standards of execution, and act as a trusted point of contact for both client and internal stakeholders to build long-term confidence. Success will be measured through execution stability, financial predictability, and the ability to drive measurable delivery outcomes that strengthen account continuity and portfolio growth. The role requires proactive risk and dependency management, close collaboration with Team Leads and delivery teams, and consistent documentation that supports traceability and transparency. - Orchestrate the intake of project requirements, clarify objectives, and align expectations across client and internal stakeholders to establish a shared understanding of project goals.
- Design and oversee build workflows for structured cabling, network systems, and site infrastructure, coordinating multi-system integration with strict schedule adherence and quality benchmarks.
- Guide review cycles for documentation, risk logs, and commissioning checklists to uphold execution quality, traceability, and readiness for handover.
- Coordinate shipping and deployment activities, synchronizing regional teams and maintaining continuity across time zones and cultures to ensure smooth execution.
- Establish partner protocols with vendors and integrators, aligning standards, staffing, and delivery priorities for complex portfolios to optimize resource utilization.
- Drive implementation of wired and wireless networks, audiovisual systems, security, and acoustics solutions from planning through detailed design, execution, and handover.
- Monitor project performance indicators, protect predictability, and surface timely adjustments for scope, dependencies, and risks to maintain delivery integrity.
- Champion process improvements by proposing workflow refinements and additional technical services that enhance project outcomes, continuity, and client confidence.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for both client and Teecom internal stakeholders, reinforcing communication discipline and responsiveness throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Manage staffing alignment in collaboration with Team Leads and project delivery teams to ensure the right skills are assigned at the right time.
- Reinforce execution standards across the engagement lifecycle, ensuring that deliverables meet quality expectations and are consistently documented.
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and propose additional technical services that improve project continuity and long-term value for clients.
- Provide clear status reporting, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation actions to stakeholders to maintain transparency and trust.
- Support portfolio growth by demonstrating reliable delivery outcomes that build client confidence and encourage repeat business and expansion.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budget parameters, and quality standards while maintaining flexibility to respond to evolving requirements.
- Contribute to the development of project management best practices and play an active role in refining engagement methodologies for the team.
Requirements
- Must bring three to five years of experience managing technical projects in client-facing environments, with a track record of delivering complex engagements.
- Must demonstrate proven success handling telecommunications, structured cabling, network, and infrastructure initiatives from planning through completion.
- Must operate comfortably across diverse operational contexts while maintaining rigorous documentation standards and attention to detail.
- Must manage scope, risks, and changes proactively, protecting schedules and client expectations throughout each phase of the engagement.
- Must exhibit strong coordination skills when working with distributed teams, vendors, and integrators to maintain alignment on objectives and timelines.
- Must be comfortable using project management tools and documentation systems to track progress, issues, and decisions in a transparent manner.
- Must communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that project objectives are understood and met.
- Must commit to upholding Teecom standards for accountability, reliability, and execution quality in every engagement.
