Role and Responsibilities
This role owns complex UI challenges from intake through partner integration. You will build polished interfaces and craft maintainable code for global tax workflows. Key duties include designing intuitive flows that transform requirements into functional interfaces. You will create reusable components to ensure consistent patterns across dashboards and forms.
You will examine cross-browser behavior, validating performance and accessibility metrics carefully. Shipping iterative releases involves coordination with product teams for timely delivery. The position requires guiding integration work to align data models with partner systems and API contracts. Optimizing load times includes refining lazy loading and asset strategies for global users.
You will partner with analysts to track usage data, refining interactions and reducing friction. Supporting maintenance involves documenting solutions and enabling team knowledge transfer. Ownership extends to end-to-end problem solving across multiple systems and services.
Professional Qualifications
Candidates must possess 3+ years of professional programming experience building cloud applications and services. A strong background in building polished, scalable web applications is essential, with emphasis on front-end architecture, user interfaces, and customer-facing product experiences.
Deep familiarity with modern web technologies is required, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to build intuitive and performant interfaces. Hands-on experience with React and related front-end frameworks is necessary for managing complex, data-heavy product experiences. Comfort with design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns drives consistency and speed across development.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field is required. Equivalent practical experience may substitute. Proven ability to identify opportunities to build, test, and scale AI-powered solutions is essential. Candidates must view AI as a force multiplier, actively enhancing team performance through innovation and curiosity.
Personal Characteristics
Required skills include strong coding abilities in Typescript, NodeJS, React, and/or Python. Experience with various cloud storage solutions such as SQL, Blob, Document, and Search is necessary. Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure, DataDog, and GitHub CI/CD is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $170,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, level, and job qualifications.
