You will be responsible for owning the full sales development lifecycle within the DACH region, acting as the primary point of contact for prospective clients from initial outreach through to qualified opportunity creation. This role requires a proactive mindset as you will be the voice and face of Talkdesk, directly influencing the company's growth trajectory in a high-potential market. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that every interaction aligns with the broader strategic objectives of the organization. Success in this position will be defined by your ability to build trust, uncover customer needs, and drive measurable pipeline growth on a consistent basis.

What you'll do
- Exceed monthly quotas for scheduling qualified meetings and generating high-value opportunities that directly contribute to revenue growth, with successful opportunities transitioning into Talkdesk clients.
- Conduct targeted outreach through a variety of channels including calls, emails, social media, and video interactions to identify and activate new potential leads.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams within your region to design, implement, and refine prospecting strategies aimed at engaging prioritized target accounts.
- Analyze market trends and feedback to provide actionable insights to sales and marketing colleagues, enhancing overall process efficiency and campaign performance.
- Articulate Talkdesk's unique value proposition to executive decision-makers, clearly communicating benefits to evaluate and qualify their interest in purchasing the platform.
- Maintain meticulous data hygiene in Salesforce, ensuring the integrity of activity, contact, and account information for all prospects and clients within the DACH region.
- Develop and execute personalized outreach sequences that address specific pain points, demonstrating a deep understanding of the contact center sector.
- Qualify leads effectively by asking insightful questions, identifying stakeholder roles, and determining the timing and fit for Talkdesk solutions.
- Utilize sales intelligence tools to research accounts, map stakeholders, and build a robust pipeline of engaged prospects across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews and forecasting activities to provide accurate updates on sales progress and upcoming opportunities.
- Serve as an ambassador for the Talkdesk brand, ensuring that all communications reflect the company's core values and commitment to excellence.
- Track and report on key performance indicators, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize conversion rates and meet aggressive growth targets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in sales, marketing, or customer service roles, demonstrating a track record of achieving targets.
- Possess a positive attitude and a strong intrinsic desire to grow both personally and professionally within a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high standards of work in all deliverables.
- Demonstrate excellent listening skills alongside strong verbal and written communication abilities in English.
- Show proven success in account development, prospecting, and delivering outstanding customer service experiences.
- Thrive in a collaborative setting, working effectively within a fast-paced, goal-oriented sales environment alongside diverse teams.

- Be fluent in German and English, with the ability to communicate professionally in both languages across all touchpoints.
- Have hands-on familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
- Be legally authorized to work in Germany and possess the right to reside and work in the country without sponsorship.
