About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Deal Desk, serving as a crucial ally to our enterprise sales division. This role encompasses overseeing the entire deal lifecycle, from the initial structuring phase to securing final pricing approvals. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to foster revenue growth while ensuring adherence to global compliance standards. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in enterprise technology transactions and demonstrate the capacity to deliver strategic insights and operational support for complex, high-value agreements.

What you'll do
- Act as the main business consultant for the enterprise sales team, managing complex deal structures, pricing strategies, and ensuring compliance with non-standard terms.
- Facilitate deal evaluations in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Executive teams to identify strategic opportunities.
- Develop and enhance pricing models and discount policies to maintain competitiveness while achieving corporate margin goals.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to improve sales efficiency and success rates through optimized approval processes and proactive guidance.
- Conduct market analysis and review internal pricing trends to mitigate revenue loss and strengthen global commercial strategies.
- Support the daily operations of CPQ tools and approval workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Establish and implement global commercial policies and escalation protocols to ensure uniformity across all regions.
- Provide training and support to sales teams on deal structuring and pricing strategies to enhance their effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on deal performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product offerings and pricing strategies that meet market demands.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes and improve the overall customer experience during the deal-making process.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to provide insights that inform pricing and deal strategies.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Finance within B2B technology sectors, including SaaS, AI, cloud infrastructure, or software.
- In-depth understanding of enterprise pricing strategies, discount structures, and complex contract frameworks, including multi-year and subscription agreements.
- Demonstrated experience in a global setting, supporting sales teams across various regions and time zones.
- Familiarity with CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Apttus/Conga, Oracle CPQ) and CRM systems.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Strong analytical capabilities paired with sound business judgment, enabling quick decision-making on complex deals while maintaining commercial integrity.
- Experience managing multi-million dollar enterprise transactions involving C-suite stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience in scaling Deal Desk operations during critical growth phases in startups or established companies entering new markets.
- Understanding of international commercial compliance, multi-currency pricing, and cross-border contracting.
- Familiarity with Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Consumption-Based Pricing models in addition to traditional SaaS licensing.

Practical notes
- The salary for this role ranges from $115,000 to $175,000.
- Additional compensation may include long-term incentives such as equity and short-term incentives like bonuses or commissions.

- A 401(k) retirement plan is available for employees.
