About the role
In this role, you will act as the essential bridge between our health system clients and the internal engineering teams at Talkdesk. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of product management, implementation consulting, and technical engineering, enabling you to transform intricate clinical workflows into effective AI-powered solutions. What you'll do
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in clinical informatics, IT, and operations within health systems to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Facilitate discovery sessions that include workflow mapping, interviews, and document analysis to uncover automation opportunities and needs within the organization.
- Assess and validate pre-sales Statements of Work to ensure they are technically feasible and align with design specifications.
- Transform operational workflows, such as scheduling, prior authorizations, and billing processes, into detailed and structured product requirements that guide development efforts.
- Manage the entire deployment process, from the initial pilot kickoff to the final production launch, ensuring all phases are executed smoothly.
- Conduct manual validation and live call testing to guarantee quality and functionality before the customer's User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
- Track and analyze post-launch performance using observability tools, addressing any technical issues that arise to maintain optimal system performance.
- Document return on investment (ROI) and success metrics to support account growth and facilitate contract renewals with clients.
- Provide actionable feedback to the core product team, influencing the product roadmap based on insights gathered from field observations and client interactions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare technology, with a solid understanding of provider operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Patient Access, Care Management, or Revenue Cycle domains, showcasing your expertise in these critical areas.
- A proven history of success in client-facing roles, such as implementation, technical project management, or solution consulting, demonstrating your ability to deliver results.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and clinical concepts to C-suite executives and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agentic workflows and a keen interest in AI and automation technologies that can enhance healthcare processes.
- Willingness to travel 25-35% of the time for on-site discovery sessions, UAT, and meetings with executives to foster collaboration and understanding.
Nice to have
- Experience working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) software vendor in a technical services or implementation capacity.
- Background in a startup or rapidly growing technology company, showcasing adaptability and innovative thinking.
- Knowledge of CCaaS, IVR, or conversational AI platforms, such as Genesys, NICE, Five9, or Nuance, which can enhance your contributions to the team.
- Understanding of HL7 FHIR, APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards, which are essential for effective integration.
- Experience in writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) or working within Agile or Scrum methodologies to facilitate project management.
- A professional background in clinical informatics, nursing, or health administration that adds depth to your understanding of healthcare challenges.
