What you'll do

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform business strategies and operational improvements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other critical metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to identify data needs and provide analytical support.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives.
• Utilize statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, providing actionable recommendations based on findings.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using data visualization tools to enhance understanding.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data collection processes and systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization, continuously improving your skills and methodologies.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis and reporting.
• Participate in the development of data governance policies to ensure compliance and data security.
• Support the integration of new data sources and tools into existing systems to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure that data infrastructure meets analytical needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Experience with statistical analysis software such as R or Python is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce or retail analytics is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in data analysis.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL processes.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design methodologies.
• Understanding of business intelligence concepts and frameworks.
