We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Developer to support our client in building advanced fiscal web applications using Python. The role centers on contributing directly to the development lifecycle of sophisticated digital government and enterprise solutions. You will own the implementation of features from initial concept through to production deployment, ensuring alignment with strict fiscal and regulatory standards. This position requires a deep commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that integrates seamlessly with complex backend systems. You will collaborate closely with product owners and designers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. The focus is on delivering high-quality functionality that enhances the reliability and performance of critical financial infrastructure. What you'll do

Investigate and refine intricate requirements by conducting detailed analysis with stakeholders to clarify objectives and constraints.

Architect and implement resilient backend services using Python and FastAPI, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability for demanding fiscal applications.

Design and integrate user interfaces utilizing modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or server-side rendering approaches to deliver intuitive user experiences.

Leverage the HTMX-inspired capabilities of fixi.js alongside web components and Jinja to create responsive and dynamic interactions within the client's technology stack.

Develop and maintain sophisticated data models and interactions with the MarkLogic NoSQL database, ensuring efficient data retrieval and integrity.

Implement and optimize AI-driven features by working with vector databases and RAG architectures to enhance the intelligence and responsiveness of applications.

Configure and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline testing, deployment, and monitoring of application releases.

Build and maintain robust APIs that facilitate seamless communication between frontend clients and backend services, adhering to best practices in API design.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging across the entire stack to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the delivery of stable and high-quality software.

Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures to support long-term maintenance and knowledge transfer.

Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and methodologies that improve development efficiency, code quality, and application performance.

Act as a key technical contributor within a multidisciplinary team, mentoring junior developers and elevating the overall standard of engineering practices.

Requirements

Holds a formal education in computer science, mathematics, or a closely related technical discipline, providing a strong analytical foundation.

Demonstrates extensive hands-on experience as a practical developer, actively writing code rather than assuming leadership or managerial responsibilities.

Possesses the ability to seamlessly integrate into an existing engineering team and adapt to complex, high-stakes application environments.

Exhibits a strong sense of integrity and takes full ownership of assigned tasks, delivering reliable results without constant supervision.

Shows genuine curiosity and a proactive drive to learn, constantly seeking opportunities to improve code, processes, and product outcomes.

Has a proven track record of building applications using Python, with a solid understanding of frameworks such as FastAPI.

Shows familiarity with AI-related concepts, including vector databases and the implementation of RAG patterns to solve real-world problems.

Has used GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools to automate software delivery workflows.

Understands the fundamentals of API development and integration, enabling smooth communication between different system components.

Nice to have

Exposure to AI-driven systems is a plus, especially experience with vector databases and RAG architectures.
