We are seeking a Treasury Management Officer on behalf of a well-established, privately held community bank. The role belongs to a producer who excels at engaging business owners, uncovering cash management needs, and converting relationships into deposit growth and fee income. You will work alongside commercial lenders across the bank's footprint while helping shape the direction of the treasury management function.

Responsibilities
You will develop and manage relationships with commercial and business clients, delivering treasury solutions that optimize cash flow, mitigate risk, and improve operational efficiency. The role requires proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing and prospective client portfolios to drive deposit growth and treasury-related fee income. You will partner with commercial loan officers on joint calling efforts to win new operating accounts and deepen treasury relationships.
A core duty involves conducting client needs assessments and preparing and presenting proposals, product demonstrations, and the financial benefits of treasury management services. You will oversee treasury management implementation, coordinating product setup and client training for services such as ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, positive pay, and online banking. The position requires serving as the bank's subject-matter resource on treasury products for both clients and internal teams.
You will review current treasury products for adjustments, improvements, or expansion based on market trends and client feedback, contributing to the strategic direction of the department. Additional responsibilities include supporting client due diligence, documentation, and compliance with applicable banking regulations.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. Candidates must bring a minimum of 5 years of banking experience with a track record of production in treasury management sales, cash management, or commercial deposit relationship development.
A working knowledge of core treasury services-including ACH, wires, online banking, remote deposit capture, and positive pay-is essential. Strong B2B relationship-building and consultative sales skills are required, along with comfort when calling on business owners and C-suite decision-makers. Experience leading or helping manage a treasury management function is preferred, though senior management experience is not required.
The Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital banking platforms is necessary.
