About the role
We are looking for a recruiter to manage talent acquisition for our restaurant leadership and high-volume hourly teams. You will partner with field operations to build staffing strategies that support our growth and maintain our culture. In this capacity, you will own the full lifecycle of critical hires, ensuring that we secure top-tier talent aligned with our operational standards. You will act as a strategic partner to our Regional Managers and Area Leaders, translating business objectives into actionable hiring plans. Your work will directly influence our ability to scale efficiently while preserving the collaborative environment that defines our brand. You will be responsible for designing and executing sourcing strategies that tap into both active and passive candidate pools. This role requires a proactive mindset to anticipate future hiring demands and mitigate risks associated with turnover or expansion delays. You will champion best-in-class recruitment practices that enhance the candidate experience and strengthen our employer brand.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for field leadership roles, including sourcing, screening, and offer negotiation.
- Partner with Regional GMs and Area Leaders on talent forecasting for new store launches and market expansion initiatives.
- Train field leadership on hiring methodologies and the proficient use of our applicant tracking system.
- Design data-driven approaches to resolve staffing gaps and refine hiring procedures for greater efficiency.
- Oversee recruitment expenditures, coordinate hiring events, and optimize advertising investment.
- Evaluate recruiting performance indicators to deliver insightful guidance to business stakeholders.
- Champion internal talent pipelines and support leadership continuity planning efforts.
- Conduct market research to benchmark compensation and ensure competitive positioning in key talent segments.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between operations, HR, and regional teams to align on hiring priorities.
- Drive the implementation of standardized processes to improve consistency across all recruitment activities.
- Monitor candidate feedback to iteratively improve the application and interview journey.
- Support the rollout of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the hiring framework.
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities in compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and enhance the efficiency of workflows.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for future visa sponsorship.
- Must possess the ability to travel and engage with regional teams as required by operational demands.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in managing full-cycle recruitment for roles across multiple locations.
- Must have experience handling high-volume hiring scenarios while maintaining quality standards.
- Must be comfortable working within a fast-paced, growth-oriented retail environment.
- Must have a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations applicable to New York state.
- Must be able to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Skills & tools
- Hands-on experience with Fountain (ATS) or similar recruitment platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent pipeline management and sourcing strategies.
- Strong capability in data analysis and the interpretation of hiring metrics.
- Proven ability to manage budgets related to recruitment and vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with employment screening procedures and background check processes.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with multi-level management teams.
- Competency in using productivity software to track and report on key performance indicators.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the restaurant or retail sector is strongly preferred.
- Background in union environments or high-regulation settings is advantageous.
- Experience with talent acquisition technology beyond the core ATS is valued.
- Demonstrated success in reducing time-to-fill for critical roles.
- Knowledge of local New York City labor markets and compensation trends.
- Exposure to workforce planning tools or headcount forecasting models.

- This is a full-time position based in New York, New York, requiring regular interaction with regional teams.
