What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop project specifications and technical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project execution and delivery.
- Monitor project progress, prepare regular status reports, and communicate updates to management and stakeholders.

- Ensure that all engineering practices are aligned with company policies and industry best practices, maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Assist in the preparation of documentation for project closeout, ensuring that all deliverables are completed and archived appropriately.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or a related role, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with experience in using software such as Microsoft Project or similar.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, practices, and standards relevant to the industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards applicable to engineering projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project documentation and reporting.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering design software.
- Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices and green building standards.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role, with a focus on relationship management and business development.
