Your success will be measured by your ability to build long-term rapport with both existing and prospective corporate clients. You will utilize a consultative approach to understand client challenges and present solutions that drive mutual growth. You will be the primary point of contact, ensuring the customer experience reflects the quality of our products and our commitment to service.

What you'll do
Conduct in-depth discovery calls to uncover the specific operational needs and strategic priorities of prospective corporate clients.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities by identifying new leads and initiating proactive outreach through cold calling and networking.
Create tailored value propositions that clearly articulate the benefits of Sunrise Farms products for food service, retail, and industrial applications.
Negotiate terms and manage the end-to-end sales cycle to ensure agreements are executed efficiently and meet company standards.
Utilize test kitchen capabilities and current cooking equipment data to demonstrate product performance and support client menu development.
Collaborate with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues for key accounts.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the poultry sector.
Leverage relationships with family-owned Canadian chicken farmers to reinforce our commitment to quality and traceability.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to align sales targets with production capabilities at our state-of-the-art facilities.
Present regular performance reports on key account activity, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Champion the implementation of new equipment and technologies to improve product consistency and customer satisfaction.
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that every interaction reflects the long-standing partnerships and high standards of Sunrise Farms.
Support the development of marketing materials and training tools for the sales team based on insights from the field.
Drive initiatives that strengthen our "ready to eat" cooking facilities and expand their utilization in commercial markets.
Requirements
You must possess a proven track record in sales, with a minimum of five years of experience in a business-to-business environment.
You must have a history of exceeding sales quotas and managing complex accounts in a previous role.
You must be legally authorized to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsorship at this time.
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a post-secondary education in business or a related field is preferred.
You must have a clean driving record and be willing to travel within the Surrey, BC area as required by the role.
You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and proposal creation.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly on the phone.
You must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods during visits to production or test kitchen facilities.
Nice to have
Experience in the poultry, food service, or agricultural sectors is preferred as it provides relevant domain knowledge.
Familiarity with restaurant or institutional buying cycles will help you navigate existing customer structures.
Understanding of logistics and distribution networks will assist in managing the flow of products from hatcheries to cooking facilities.
Practical notes
This is a full-time salaried position based in Surrey, BC.
Travel within the Greater Vancouver region is required to visit accounts and production sites.
Candidates must meet all legal work requirements under Canadian law.
