Sullivanstanley is looking for a dedicated Community & Events Executive to join their team in London on a full-time basis. This position plays a vital role in shaping the company's community presence and ensuring that every event delivers value to attendees and partners alike. The Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of community-facing events, from initial concept development through post-event follow-up and analysis, and will collaborate with colleagues across departments to build lasting relationships with community members, sponsors, and stakeholders. What you'll do
- Plan and coordinate community events from initial concept through to post-event evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Manage event budgets end to end, tracking all expenses and ensuring cost-effective delivery across every initiative.
- Develop and nurture relationships with speakers, vendors, venues, and external partners to secure the best possible outcomes.
- Create event marketing materials and coordinate promotional campaigns across digital and traditional channels to drive attendance and registration.
- Handle full event logistics including venue booking, catering arrangements, transportation planning, and on-site day-of coordination and support.
- Collect and analyze attendee feedback through surveys and direct conversations to identify areas for improving future event experiences.
- Support the growth of both online and offline community engagement strategies in alignment with the company's broader goals.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive experience at all events.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging best practices in community building, event design, and attendee engagement on an ongoing basis.
- Produce comprehensive event reports and documentation for internal stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional team members after each event concludes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event management, community coordination, or a related professional field with demonstrable results and references.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously without losing detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and professional outreach on a regular basis.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative on event projects from concept development through final delivery.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and solving problems before they escalate.
- Experience with budget management and financial tracking for events of varying scale, format, and complexity.
- Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality, accuracy, or care.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in events management, marketing, communications, or a related academic discipline is required.
