Key facts
What you'll do
Analytical frameworks, scorecards, and decision-support tools are designed with clarity and simplicity to guide how the network operates. You translate ambiguous strategic questions into answerable diagnostics by analyzing information across functions. Modern analytical toolsets and data visualization accelerate insight generation and strengthen performance-management systems used by the network. Executive leadership receives distilled, actionable insights and recommendations derived from complex, multi-source information. Problems move from definition through analysis, recommendation, and implementation to operationalize impact end-to-end. You distill complex information into executive-ready takeaways using exceptional written and verbal communication. Fast pattern recognition and the ability to quickly learn new domains, stakeholders, and tools demonstrate intellectual curiosity and adaptability. Detail-oriented analysis is balanced with the ability to elevate thinking to enterprise-level perspectives that shape network strategy. You build trust and credibility across functions and levels to influence decisions without formal authority. Ownership spans end-to-end with an enterprise mindset to connect functions and compound impact over time.
Requirements
Post-undergraduate analytical experience of 3-5 years is expected in top-tier strategy consulting, Tier-1 investment banking, or comparable environments. You must demonstrate quantitative fluency and mastery of analytical toolsets to perform data analysis and visualization and strengthen performance management systems. Complex information must be distilled into executive-ready takeaways using exceptional communication skills that cut through noise. Fast pattern recognition and the ability to quickly learn new domains, stakeholders, and tools are essential indicators of intellectual curiosity and growth potential. Detail-oriented analysis must be balanced with the capacity to elevate thinking to enterprise-level perspectives that inform network-wide decisions. Trust and credibility are built across functions and levels to influence decisions without formal authority, requiring emotional intelligence and judgment. Ownership spans end-to-end with an enterprise mindset to connect functions, identify leverage points, and compound impact across the network. Ambition and intensity are paired with humility, accepting any task necessary to drive change and support team objectives. A Bachelor's degree is required as the minimum educational credential for this position. Candidates must have the right to work in the United States without requiring employment-based immigration sponsorship.
Practical notes
This role is based in New York and does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship. Typical interview steps include Analyst interviews which often include a SQL or spreadsheet exercise, a case question, and behavioral rounds. Candidates may be asked to analyze a dataset, define a metric, or estimate an outcome as part of the assessment process. Presenting findings clearly is tested as often as the analysis itself, with interviewers focusing on how numbers inform decision-making. Interviewers often test speed and clarity with a timed exercise to simulate real-world pressure. Explaining what the numbers mean, not just what they are, is the differentiator that separates strong candidates from exceptional ones.
Questions to ask
Useful questions for the interview include what a typical week looks like, how work is assigned, what tools the team uses, and how feedback works. Asking how the role has changed recently and what the team wishes it had known when joining is also reasonable and encouraged. Questions about the manager's priorities are especially valued and demonstrate proactive thinking about the position.
Career growth
Analyst careers can grow into senior analyst, analytics manager, or data science roles within the network. Some analysts move into product or business operations roles as they develop broader business ownership. Deeper technical skills or broader business ownership are the two main paths for long-term career development. Analyst roles are a common on-ramp into product, marketing, or operations leadership tracks within Success Academy. Building deep domain knowledge alongside analytics expertise is the fastest path to advancing your impact and responsibility within the organization. The combination of technical rigor and business curiosity defines long-term success in strategy roles at large charter networks.
