As the Senior Director of Global IT Infrastructure & Service Operations at Structuretx, you will play a role in shaping the technological backbone of our organization. What you'll do
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy that aligns with the overall business goals of Structuretx.
- Oversee the management of global IT operations, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of all IT services and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment on IT initiatives and priorities.
- Develop and manage budgets for IT infrastructure and service operations, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within IT operations, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Monitor and report on the performance of IT infrastructure and services, providing insights and recommendations for enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and cybersecurity protocols.
- Mentor and lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional development.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value and service delivery for the organization.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard critical IT infrastructure and services.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology to inform strategic decision-making and investment in IT capabilities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and service operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects and initiatives, preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences sector.
- Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience implementing best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset, with a focus on delivering results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to IT in the biotech industry is a plus.
Nice to have
- Certifications in relevant IT management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or similar) are advantageous.
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools to drive decision-making.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their applications in IT operations.
- Previous experience working in a global organization with a distributed workforce.

- Proficiency in IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and software, such as ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with performance monitoring and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and risk management frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
