Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various teams in engineering, manufacturing, and operations, while also acting as the main liaison for stakeholders. You will be tasked with defining project requirements, monitoring timelines, and ensuring that customer milestones are successfully achieved.

What you'll do

• Direct integrated product teams throughout the entire lifecycle of the program, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all functions.
• Develop and oversee program budgets, timelines, and performance indicators to ensure successful project execution.
• Make authoritative decisions regarding budgetary and scheduling constraints to keep projects on track.
• Create detailed statements of work, establish program review checkpoints, and define criteria for entry and exit at various stages of the project.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to assess subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgetary limits.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks.
• Prepare proposals and contribute to strategic business planning, including forecasting personnel needs and resource allocation.
• Provide consistent updates and status reports to the Senior Programs Manager, keeping them informed of project progress and challenges.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, coupled with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience for the Senior Program Manager level, or over 10 years for the Staff Program Manager level.
• Proven experience in aerospace program management, including subcontracts, aircraft systems, or the integration of launch vehicles.
• Familiarity with prototype manufacturing processes or environments characterized by low-rate production.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information and resolve conflicts among diverse groups.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Eligibility to obtain a TS-level security clearance.
• Willingness to travel within the United States as necessary for project requirements.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification to enhance project management capabilities.
• Experience working with government agencies, particularly in air-launch programs or classified settings.
• Background in operations related to large transport category or military aircraft, adding depth to your aerospace knowledge.

Practical notes

• Salary ranges for this position are as follows: Senior Program Manager ($120,500 to $158,000) and Staff Program Manager ($157,000 to $206,000), reflecting the level of experience and responsibility.
• Comprehensive benefits package includes a 9/80 work schedule, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to $11,500.
• U.S. Citizenship may be necessary due to the requirements of obtaining a security clearance.
• The role may involve operating company vehicles, necessitating a valid driver's license and adherence to safety protocols.
